Initiative audit
Initiative audit — this is an audit carried out at the discretion of the customer of services, and not by virtue of legal obligations. This is an audit of accounting estimates, accounting policies, an audit of foreign economic operations, an audit of accounting estimates and the detection of known unprofitable transactions, compliance with submitted reports and paid taxes.
The need for proactive auditing may arise:
- If there are doubts about the correctness of accounting and tax accounting;
- When the chief accountant, director, or financial director of the company changes;
- Before the inspection by the tax authorities;
- When applying for a loan, etc.
Conducting an audit helps company founders understand weak points in the company’s activities, as well as reduce risks in the event of inspections by regulatory authorities.
